It has taken the best of 11 months, and 5 days to be exact ever since I first met the MBPJ officer (23rd December 2017) and today, things are finally over. No more shitty work. However lowyatt hipsters can get everything done like A-B-C in 3 days.
The process here finally is complete. Tonight, I may rejoice with some drinks, and say thank you God, I have come this far which has been the hardest, toughest, and longest part of getting approvals sorted.
I will be posting again tomorrow to show you all what I will receive as documents and what will be needed to be done. The Structural Engineer is almost done for the submissions for the Building Plans / Pelan Bangunan for MBPJ, our Architect and Draftsman are all ready as well to do more work, and by that its more paper work for MBPJ and their love for it. Just posting a quick one here for a joyous occassion. Our topic in the weeks that follow will shift to about contractors and the Pelan Bangunan / Building Plan's process. Lowyatt hipsters definitely will be looking forward to this.
For you lowyatt hipsters, stay tuned because your God status online will just about to get bigger and more knowledgeable once you view my final documents for the Kebenaran Merancang at MBPJ while eating your avacado toast and chai latte. Then you can "pm me on da side 4 more info" all you want. So glad this process is finally over, stay tuned as I will be showing you tomorrow what are the full documents received for the final Kebenaran Merancang approval from MBPJ.
Stay Tuned for the Season Finale of MBPJ's Kebenaran Merancang for Home Renovations 2019. It is bound to be an extra special one. I will make sure of that. So please view the next posting tomorrow as it goes up. =)
Meanwhile, Happy Belated Diwali for the month of November. To all, may the Christmas Trees come up the next day as always =) So courteous Cheras Lowyatt folks are. Because nothing beats Diwali like Christmas Trees being put up the same time.
Congratulations!! And thanks so very much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is very useful and insightful for us who are also embarking our own journey of building our dream house from scratch. Our timeline and heart-achingly painful experiences with architects and contractors are very similar to yours. We are at the stage of submission of architect and engineer plans to the Majlis (not in PJ though) and praying we will not encounter the same hoops and hurdles like you. Hopefully we can start construction right after CNY, that is, if we can get a price from one of the three shortlisted contractors that will fit our budget and the expertise that is required for the job.
Yeah, you are absolutely right, Lowyatt is not very useful with all those mainly kopitiam talk. We spent countless hours trying to cut out all the fluff and noise (and got nothing) until we stumbled upon your blog. Your postings here are so much more helpful and informative for greenhorns like us. Friends and family said we are crazy and should just buy a house off the peg. After reading about your trials and tribulations, we admire your tenacity in not giving up. You inspire us not to give up too and we will continue to plod on to see our dream come to fruition, come what may.
Kudos to you and we wish you all the best of outcomes in your quest to build a decent home without going into financial ruins. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your missus too.
Dear Lille, its now January 29th and I just realised you left a comment. I thank you for the kind words, things are not easy and time is not something that can be returned. Its been a hard battle for me, but more importantly, as long as this place helps with whatever I can share, and as detailed as I can be, I will continue to put my head down and do my best to share. I bid you good luck with your home renovations and approvals. I bid you twice the better luck that I had, and hope that you will see renovations to your home commence after chinese new year. Best wishes and regards always.
